Vox Pops- Audience Expectations of a Thriller Film

For this task we interviewed six people between the ages of  16 and 25 and asked them what they expected from a thriller film and what their favourite thriller film was. Most people looked for an atmosphere from either suspense or fear and all looked for mystery. Some said they looked for twists which are quite essential to a thriller film and others said they look for a hero and villian. In the terms of thriller films this would be the protagonist and antagonist with some sense of right and wrong.

The following is a presentation we created to explain the media terminology of Match on Action, SHot Reverse Shot and 180 Degree Rule.
Match on Action was researched by Kate Offer
Shot Reverse shot was researched by Aimee-Grace Miller
180 Degree Rule was researched by Hannah Costen
We each took a topic, found diagrams and videos to explain how it is done, found out what it meant and then taught it to the others in our group.
